The software architecture, design patterns and framework has been built for the complexities and challenges of an enterprise wide information system.

Calculate Linux

Alexander Tratsevskiy has announced the release of Calculate Linux Desktop 9.6 "Xfce" edition, the first version of the Gentoo-based distribution with the Xfce environment: "The main differences: The system is optimized to work on slower computers; the size of the image stored on a CD; instead, the graphic library Qt uses GTK+; Because of limitations in the amount of the image, removed Portage and sources kernel. Features: the system is fully compatible with the Calculate Directory Server; CLDX users can work with CLD 9.6, save the settings for desktop in different directory; Xfce interface is made in traditional style Calculate Linux Desktop; supports seven languages: Russian, English, German, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Ukrainian; supports installation on the HDD and USB-HDD file system: ext4, ext3, ext2, Reiserfs, JFS or XFS." ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΔΙΑΝΟΜΗ 100 ΜΒ !!!

"..Ποιά είναι όμως αυτή η διανομή η οποία τρέχοντας από live cd μπορεί να αναπαράγει ΟΛΑ τα αρχεία ήχου ή βίντεο (χωρίς να εξαιρούνται τα real), μπορεί να δεί καί να γράψει τόσο σε fat όσο καί σε ntfs, μπορεί να κρατήσει αντίγραφα ασφαλείας οποιουδήποτε αρχείου ή φακέλου (ναί εντάξει, χωρίς να έχει κάποιο εργαλείο σαν το luckybackup), μπορεί να κλωνοποιήσει ολόκληρο σκληρό δίσκο, να διαχειρηστεί τα partition μας, να επεξεργαστεί τις φωτογραφίες μας καί τα έγραφα....να σώσει όλες τις ρυθμίσεις στον σκληρό δίσκο, σε usb ή στο ίδιο το cd! να εγκατασταθεί στον σκληρό μας δίσκο, ΧΩΡΙΣ την ανάγκη δημιουργίας partition. Ναί. Μπορούμε να την "εγκαταστήσουμε" στο ίδιο partition με την ήδη υπάρχουσα διανομή μας, ή σε fat ή ακόμα καί στα ntfs πού έχουμε (λέμε τώρα!!) τα windows, χωρίς να αλλάξουμε τίποτα από τα δεδομένα μας, χωρίς κανέναν κίνδυνο γιά τον σκληρό μας δίσκο. Όλα αυτά από τα 100 mb τού puppy.Το 4.10 ήρθε, φέρνοντας μπόλικες αλαγές.Δεν θα σταθώ στα προγράμματα πού προστέθηκαν, ή στην προσάρτηση των δίσκων πού γίνεται πλέον αυτόματα, με καλαίσθητα εικονίδια στο desktop μας.Αυτό πού μού έκανε εντύπωση ήταν ο νέος τρόπος εκίνησης.Το puppy στην ουσία είναι ένα αρχείο με κατάληξη .sfs. Οί προσωπικές μας ρυθμίσεις σώζονται σε φάκελο με κατάληξη .2fs. Tην πρώτη φορά πού θα τρέξουμε το puppy, αν αυτό βρεί κάπου, φάκελο .2fs, τότε αυτόματα αντιγράφει το sfs στο ίδιο directory καί η επόμενη εκίνηση γίνεται από εκεί αστραπιαία. Μέτησα από το boot μέχρι το desktop 20 δευτερόλεπτα.Το puppel 410 ήρθε καί αυτό.Με ελληνοαγγλικό πληκτρολόγιο, καί σωστή προβολή ελληνικών σε ntfs καί fat διαμερίσματα, ενώ το μενού είναι ελληνικό κατά 90%.Προχωράμε πλέον στον εξελληνισμό αρχείων βοήθειας καί εφαρμογών.Μείνετε... συντονισμένοι στο http://hamster.tuxhost.gr/
